For Christmas Ricky got me a bread tin that I’ve had my eye on for ages. We’re back staying at my place which means I can experiment with tons of baking now and finally give the tin – and accompanying baking sheets – a whirl.
So far I’ve made a few batches of chocolate chip cookies, but last night I decided it was time to make space in my freezer and use up all those blackened bananas I’d frozen with the good intention of baking with. Banana bread it was to be.
Tweaked the recipe a bit according to an online review, adding vanilla and nutmeg, and it turned out quite tasty.
