Otherwise Chronicles: Double Dragon

Bit late on posting this week’s video – but I’m cutting myself some slack after having moved internationally again.

I still have a bunch of footage from the UK for at least two more videos, so even though I’m back in Canada, expect to see more of England. That said, I’ve already started collecting bits and pieces for Canada videos so you have to stay tuned for those…

In the meantime, here’s a great pub that I love in Hastings. I loved most pubs in Hastings to be honest, but this one was Ricky’s favourite that he used to frequent regularly before he went to Korea and by extension I grew quite fond of it. It’s called Churchill’s and it’s attached to the Double Dragon Chinese restaurant (perfect drunk food to soak up the beer after closing time).

Pub culture was one of my favourite things in the UK because even though I’m not a huge fan of drinking, it was a lot more about socializing. Like a café. But with ale.

So here’s a super short video I made from there on a night that we participated in just such quiet chilling along with a game of Cards Against Humanity.

Enjoy!
